In this video, I explore a different perspective on Hermann Hesse’s Siddhartha—not as a book review, but as a reflection on ambition, identity, self-discovery, and the hidden costs of personal growth.
We often celebrate people who leave everything behind to chase a dream, find their purpose, or pursue enlightenment.
But what happens to the people left behind?
Can the pursuit of growth become selfish?
Can someone be both sincere and arrogant at the same time?
And how many mistakes do we excuse simply because they happen on the path to “becoming ourselves”?
These are the questions that stayed with me after reading Siddhartha.
This video is part of my 2-year public experiment called Prayogsala—a laboratory for testing ideas from books, habits, philosophy, creativity, and everyday life.
I’m not here to summarize books.
I’m here to challenge ideas, challenge myself, and document what happens.
